With the sheer volume of superhero media being produced these days, there’ve been all sorts of interpretations of what makes a hero, from Zack Snyder’s dark Justice League to the more quippy Marvel movies. Then there’s My Hero Academia, which goes all in with its sincere admiration of heroism and its ability to inspire people. But it’s heroes are also humans with flaws of their own, which only makes their accomplishments even more heroic.
